Kenyon E. Richard earned a bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada in 1937. During his career, he specialized in finding deposits of porphyry copper throughout the Western United States, Canada and Mexico, Central and South America. From 1937 to 1945, he worked for Consolidated Copper Mines Corporation in Kimberly, Nevada.
